Pratis Barns – A Ceilidh Venue with a Vision and a View
A more recent addition to our list of wedding venues, is the wonderful Pratis Barns. Pratis Barns is rustic venue, located on a farm in the East Neuk of Fife with fantastic views over the Firth of Forth, just 20 minutes from St Andrews. The venue consists of 6-bay barns that form the heart of the venue for your reception and party, as well as a ceremony barn, walled garden and 30 acres of grounds!
One of the great things about this venue is its ability to allow couples to transform its various spaces and add a touch of their own personality to bring the place to life.
The ceremony barn offers a relaxed and beautiful feel to your wedding service. The space is adorned with fairy lights and candles, and with the elegant sounds of a string quartet or clarsach, will be transformed into the perfect magical, romantic setting in which to say your “I Do’s”. Inside the first reception area, the ‘Day Barn’ is a perfect place to welcome your guests and serve drinks and canapés. Why not welcome guests in traditional style with our Bagpiper, dressed in full traditional Scottish dress or incorporate our Fiddle Duo into this part of your day to keep guests entertained.
When it comes to the evening meal, Pratis have it covered with their award-winning in-house catering. This will ensure that you’ll be raring to go when it comes to the ceilidh dancing and DJ/disco part of the evening.
This traditional venue surrounded by the great outdoors, truly is the ideal venue for a good ol barn (ceilidh) dance!
