The Rhynd Event Space and Wedding Venue
The Cragganmore Ceilidh Band are looking forward to performing as the Wedding Ceilidh Band and DJ, at The Rhynd Event Space, later this year. The venue is situated fifteen minutes from the beautiful town of St Andrews in Fife, on the east coast of Scotland.
The Rhynd was previously part of a working farm with the cattle shed transformed into a lovely rustic barn that can be dressed to suit the clients, making it personal for their special wedding day. Fairy lights, candles, or greenery, the choice is yours. There is also a large outdoor space which can be used for an outdoor ceremony or drinks reception.
Opened in 2016, the space is ideal for weddings of all sizes. The venue can cater for smaller, more intimate weddings, as well as much larger weddings, with the ability to seat up to 180 for a meal and 230 for the evening reception. The dance floor provides plenty of space to dance the night away and enjoy a fantastic mixture of Ceilidh and Disco from our DJ.
Set in the Fife countryside, the venue is surrounded by beaches, forests, and fields. Located just five minutes from Tentsmuir Beach with its golden sand, there is a wonderful variety of fantastic locations for wedding photographs close by.
An added asset of The Rhynd Event Space is the opportunity to hire the adjacent Rhynd Farmhouse. Recently renovated to an extremely high standard, and sleeping up to 10 guests, this space allows family or guests to relax before or after the special day. Ideal for guests travelling from abroad or further afield.
Easily accessible for guests travelling from across Scotland and further afield, the venue is 2 minutes from Leuchars, with a train station on the main East Coast line, 15 minutes from Dundee, and the nearest airport approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes by car from Edinburgh, or approximately an hour from Leuchars to Edinburgh by train.
The Rhynd is the ideal setting for a traditional Scottish wedding ceilidh, and Cragganmore can’t wait to provide the entertainment as the Wedding Ceilidh Band in the not too distant future.
